One year of cleanroom assembly work at Almelo contracted

Pronexos (formerly EMS) has signed a one year contract with Bronkhorst High-Tech located in Ruurlo, The Netherlands. Bronkhorst is one of the world’s leading suppliers of mass flow meters and controllers for liquids and gases. Pronexos will supply cleanroom assembly services to Bronkhorst. The contract signed on 7 June comprises the option to extend its scope and duration.

Assembling flow measurement instruments

“Our manufacturing environment at Almelo and the skills of our technicians meet the requirements of this project in which the instruments will be assembled under cleanroom conditions”, explains Core Business Account Director Pieter Folkers. “Pronexos will provide the cleanroom facilities and execute the assembly work with a team of technicians, for which the training has already started. In the coming weeks, three assembly cells will be built up in our cleanroom. The production is scheduled to commence in August.”

Managing growth by Bronkhorst

“We are pleased to enter into this collaboration with Pronexos”, says Henk Tappel, Managing Director at Bronkhorst. “Over the last years, we have achieved an average annual growth of 10 %. The capacity extension at Pronexos will facilitate continuation of this growth. Our target is that 3,500 flow sensors will be assembled at Almelo until the end of the year. We are looking forward to a good collaboration.”
