With facilities in both The Netherlands and Romania, Aeronamic produces the best-of-the-best aircraft components for major global names in aviation including Airbus, Boeing, Gulfstream, Bombardier and Lockheed Martin. They combine excellent technical manufacturing solutions with fully certified in-house special processes and supply the relevant markets globally.
Pronexos (formerly EMS) has recently finalised a long-term agreement with Aeronamic to supply heat treatment and brazing work for advanced aerospace components such as load compressors and ADUs, which are auxiliary aircraft power systems.
The agreement offers Aeronamic significant logistical and commercial enhancements to their previous arrangements: the Pronexos manufacturing site in Almelo in The Netherlands is a matter of metres from the Aeronamic site, and this enables Pronexos to offer a more reactive customer service, quicker delivery and more transparency to the customer. Pronexos is also able to offer Aeronamic an improved competitive edge and faster turnaround times for delivery of these services.
For two years, Pronexos has worked closely with Aeronamic to plan and achieve the accreditations and qualifications necessary to ensure compliance with the quality standards in aerospace. Over the same period, Pronexos has been investigating Aeronamic’s specific requirements in heat treatment and brazing for their existing product portfolio. Pronexos is now fully accredited to undertake these works, having achieved the EN9100 quality standard certification as well as NADCAP accreditation for heat treatment, brazing and tensile testing.
Significantly, Pronexos is able to offer both heat treatment and brazing at the same location, and this combination is an important element in the overall value chain that Pronexos can offer for aerospace applications. Pronexos is now collaborating with Aeronamic to see if they can provide further assistance on other products. Furthermore, Pronexos has been able to offer additional services to Aeronamic, such as regular use of the materials laboratory facilities, which are state-of-the-art. This will enable Aeronamic to access top class facilities for material investigation projects at short notice.
To further augment their capacity to supply the aerospace and aviation sector, Pronexos has now approved an investment for an additional oven for heat treatment services at the Almelo site.
"“With their experience and knowledge on both heat treatment and vacuum technology, Pronexos is an excellent partner for us. Together with the high quality standards and on-site test facilities/capabilities of Pronexos we are confident our requirements can be met. It also fulfils our need for a one-stop-shop, simplifying logistical routings. Pronexos is a strong partner and is keen to invest in the future with us” "
